Our story
Our story did not begin in a boardroom, but in a backyard. Founder Bas van Pelt was already working in shipbuilding at the age of sixteen, and not long after, he began building his first vessel himself. Pacific Shipyards was founded in 1994 with one clear conviction: every yacht should be built entirely around the wishes of its owner.
More than thirty years later, that conviction remains unchanged. Our shipyard has grown and our yachts have become larger, but our way of working has stayed the same. We build everything ourselves, from welding the hull to the finest interior joinery. No outsourcing. No compromises. Craftsmanship, every single day.
