In the June 2007 issue of the Yachting and Lifestyle magazine TopNautic, an article about the Pacific Prestige 200 was placed.
The origins of Pacific Shipyards lie in 1994. The shipyard was established by Bas van Pelt, who is still director/owner of the shipyard. Under his guidance the shipyard has experienced a healthy growth and has established a name for itself as constructor of “pocket-sized” super-yachts. The shipyard has a lot of expertise and both the construction of the hull and the finishing is done by the shipyard itself. The design and engineering of all Pacific Yachts is also done by the shipyard itself. For the latest development, the ultra luxurious Pacific S, the shipyard has worked closely with international renowned Vripack. The Pacific S, is the first round-bilged yacht that has been built by Pacific and with the construction of this yacht Pacific clearly emphasizes what they are capable of.
Innovative layouts and well thought-out concepts make each Pacific an appealing yacht. Engine rooms with headway on both sides of the central aisle (Pacific P) characterize the innovative method of working of this shipyard. Pacific has six yachts under construction at all times, that are being built by a fixed team of people, that use the best materials and equipments for your future possession.

Pacific Shipyards constructs “custom-built” steel and aluminium motor yachts in a range from 16 to 26 meters divided over four series: Allure, Pacific P, Pacific S and Pearl. The yachts from this shipyard distinguish themselves by a special “look and feel”. Harmonious design and innovative layouts make each Pacific a special yacht.
